Following years of working on various renovations and building projects for others, farmer, foreman and handyman Rob Boshaw decided to strike out on his own and work for himself. |

Rob and his wife, Sharylin,
renovated their home
in Orillia, Ontario, and later sold it for a healthy profit. In August
2005, they decided to use
the proceeds from the sale of their home to live a life-long
dream and make the cross-country trek to British Columbia.
They packed their van and a UHAUL trailer, and the Boshaw's drove the Trans Canada Highway for ten days, camping
every night at various provincial parks along the way.
Rob and Sharylin finally ended up in Steveston - an old fishing village where the southern arm of the Fraser River meets the Pacific Ocean. It is a very quiet part of Richmond, and they love their new life in BC. |
